Christmas Time

Christmas time was a little different for us this year.
We usually have all our decorations up, we do lots of fun activities, we make cookies and crafts.... This year, there wasn't much of that.  It was kinda hard for me because Christmas is my favorite time of the year, but we were so busy this year because of our move.
Most of our decorations stayed in boxes and there wasn't a ton of Christmas fun but we made the most out of what we did get to do.

Our Elf, Jolly, did get to come.  The girls were excited.  She came to the old house and did make it to our new house too.  Then she told Santa our new address so he could come too.

We went to "Speedway Christmas" and saw the Christmas lights at the race track.

We went Uptown to meet Josh for dinner and to see the signing bears.

Alyse went with Josh and the police department to give out gifts to families in his area.

We also went to see Santa, of course.

And I made sure that there were lots of fun Christmas outfits for them to wear.

My girls love Christmas movies and Christmas PJ's.

On Christmas Eve we made Santa some cookies.

Then we went to church.

They put out some food for Santa's reindeer.

Of course there was new Christmas pjs.

Once the cookies were put out for Santa they were off to bed.

That night Breeley was so sick.
She came into our room and I slept (a little) with her on the floor in the bathroom.  Both of us were pretty miserable.  I felt so bad for her.

Alyse came in bright in early ready to celebrate, but was understanding of her sister not feeling great and was actually very patient.  Eventually we were ready to go celebrate.  After all it was an exciting Christmas because it was Miss Cammie Lyn's first Christmas!

The girls waited on the stairs to hear it was time to come down to see all their gifts.

It was a very Merry Christmas!
We loved celebrating in our new house and can't wait to spend many more Christmases here (and hopefully we will get to do a lot more of the normal Christmas fun.)
