Happy 3rd Birthday Breeley May (7 months later....)

Let's rewind back to May 7th.....
Breeley turned 3!
The poor middle child's birthday has never been blogged, so let's blog about it now.

There were balloons as she slept.

When she woke up, we had to try to calm the very excited 3yr old down to try to take her good morning picture, but she was a little crazy.  (She's always a little crazy.)

She chose a present to open up and had her birthday breakfast.

The theme that she had chosen was My Little Pony.

We were then off to Build A Bear for her celebration.

She chose a Pinky Pie.  Not really surprising considering the birthday theme.

She stuffed, loved, washed, dressed, and got Pinky Pie all ready to take home.

She then got to ride the carousel and go to the Disney Store

For lunch we went to Dave and Busters.
(We figured it was better food, less busy, and hopefully cleaner than Chuck E Cheese.)
She opened a few more presents and then played some games.

We were all worn out from a day of fun.

Later we celebrated with some cupcakes.

I love this crazy 3 year old.

It's all fun until someone gets hurt

This past week we were invited to a fun fall party.
There was bounce houses, hay and corn mazes, animals to pet and ride, crafts, lots of yummy treats, candy and gifts to take home, games, and lots of friends to play with.

It was a great fall party.

While we were there Breeley was with Josh on one of the bouncy things.  Josh said she stopped and came over crying that her leg hurt.  For the next hour or so she would not stop complaining about her leg.  She was checked out by both Josh and I and multiple other people and no one could find anything wrong with her.  I knew there must be something wrong when I put her down and she could not walk.  I walked about 5 feet away from her.  She tried to follow me and fell down 3 times.  I had to turn around and pick her up because she obviously was in pain and honestly could not walk.  The rest of the night she would not let me put her down and really I don't think that I could have.  The next day the first words out of her mouth were that her leg hurt.  A number of our friends recommended an ortho Dr who goes to our church and has treated a number of their children.  Her regular Dr was not working that day so we called him right away.  He had a surgery but we made plans to see him first thing the next morning.  We took her to our chiropractor and he checked her out, but she still complained about her leg and would not/could not work.  She crawled around everywhere.

On Saturday she woke up and again said her leg hurt.  I made her try to walk.  She took a few steps and said "I walk now!"  She kept walking around all morning.  When you asked her where it hurt she would point to her knee.  When she was walking she still kinda leaned to her left side and her right foot was turned weird but she was putting weight on it.
By the time we got to the Dr she was walking fine.  I was glad but also felt like she was making me look like I was freaking out over nothing or making it all up, but I swear for 2 days she was miserable!
Dr George still looked her over and took x-rays.
There was no break, sprain, or anything fractured or torn.
He said it could have been a number of things but really we were just glad that she fine.

Breeley's Baby

Meet Tiana Baby.
She is our new family member.
Breeley adopted her.
Well, really she abducted/stole her.  From church.

A few months ago I went to get her from her ekidz and she had a baby in her bag.  I told the girls that the baby was not Breeley's and she lost it.  She started crying "My baby!  My baby!".  The girls told me that she had carried it around all day and they thought it was hers. We were coming back that night so I told Breeley that we would play with it later.  That was not acceptable to her.  She had to take the baby with her.  I let her take it and we took it back that night.
But it again came home with us.
Repeat this trip back and forth to church for the next few weeks.
Tiana Baby just kept coming back home with us.
I think that she is now officially ours... Breeley's.

If you look back at the last few post you will see her in almost every picture with Breeley.

At the beach she was pulled around on a boogie board, hunted for crabs, and played in the sand.
In Canada she road the Maid of the Mist.
She goes to church and egroups.
She goes to Target, the grocery store, to the chiropractor, and any other errand.
She has been to the pumpkin patch, picked apples, and saw Disney on Ice.
She plays with Breeley as Alyse and I do school.
She even was included on a date night with Daddy.
Baby Tiana goes anywhere Breeley goes.
She is her best friend.

Happy Breeley Birthday

Guess who turned 2 yesterday?!

This sweet baby girl... well, I guess she isn't really a baby anymore.

I was having major guilt because as of late Saturday afternoon I had not really put any thought into planning any type of celebration for her.  I hadn't sewn or put together an outfit, planned on baking anything, asked anyone over - nothing.  So, I told Josh that I was going to run to the store and try to pull something together.  (Poor second child!)  I also went through some birthday outfits and picked her out a super cute birthday outfit to wear to church Sunday.

She loved her squeaky shoes, and could not stop twirling her pettiskirt!

I guess when she was in eKidz on Sunday they sang "Happy Birthday" to her.  For the rest of the afternoon she tried to sing it to herself.  She keep saying "Happy to you.  Happy Breeley.  Happy Breeley Birthday".  So cute!

After she was in bed Sunday I baked, I crafted, and Josh and I decorated.

I made this Minnie "Breeley is two" banner

and also spray painted and hot glued some foam circles to make a Minnie decoration

On her birthday morning she woke up to balloons in her room and Josh, Alyse and I sang her "Happy Birthday".

(I love that picture.  It is totally her!)

For breakfast she had some "Minnie" doughnuts

After a normal day (school, work, dance class, etc...)
Papa and Aunt Danielle came over for dinner to celebrate the big 2nd bday.
(My mom is in Canada with my Grandpa who is recovering from a major surgery.)
Yes, Breeley was in her birthday suit for dinner.

To stick with the Minnie theme we had bow pasta (This recipe - it's so good!) and I made bread sticks in the shape of bows.

Then it was time to open a few presents.
Princess shoes, coloring books, a La La Loopsy (which Alyse picked out for her and I love to hear her say!) and a few little gifts that Josh and I had picked up when we at Disney World.  Plus Breeley finally got her chair from Papa and Grammy.  (Alyse got one for her birthday and there has been lots of not always friendly sharing.)

Then it was time for some Minnie cupcakes.

I think she had a very happy 2nd birthday!
