The big day was finally here!
Our first day at Disney World! We had to go to Magic Kingdom first.
When we came in Alyse was very excited. She had a huge smile on her face.
When Breeley saw the Castle I could not stop laughing/crying.
(Yes, I cried.)
Of course we had to stop for the Main Street/Castle picture.
As we walked down Main Street a trolley with performers came down and stopped right by us to sing a song or 2. My girls were sucked in.
Breeley was very excited about Mickey everywhere.
Another (no people in the background) Castle picture.
Awhile ago we watched Sword and the Stone with Alyse. This was one of Josh's favorite movies as a little boy. So we had to stop to let Daddy try to pull the sword from the stone.
Then it was time for our first ride.
Alyse had told me she wanted to ride the Teacups first but then she saw Snow White's Scary Adventure so we headed there for ride #1.
(I'm glad we rode it because I read online that they are closing this ride because of a new Snow White ride in the New Fantasyland that is opening.)
This is Breeley's "ride face". She had this look a lot over the next few days.
Alyse was a little nervous. She turned around and said, "Mommy, this ride is a little scary."
Um... it's called Snow White's Scary Adventure. :)
Then it was onto the Regal Carrousel.
Next was Mickey's PhilharMagic show. My girls loved this.
Then we were onto the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
(We loved the line! Lots of fun!)
Finally we found the Mad Tea Party - aka The Teacups.
Next up was the new Dumbo ride.
We decided to hop on the train to go grab some Fast Pass tickets and then to get lunch.
(We ate at Pacos Bill's in Fronterland.)
When we got back to Main Street, Mary Poppins was finishing up some pictures. We didn't get her autograph but she asked if we wanted to walk with her. (I love Mary Poppins!)
Then it was time to go meet Mickey and Minnie!
Breeley loved it! She was a little in awe.
Then it was Princess time.
Alyse was in heaven.
(We also noticed her nervous hair twirling that would occur every time she met a character.)
Breeley was excited but she was getting a little tired.
She spent most of the time being escorted by Josh.
After we came out, a show was starting on the stage in front of the Castle so we of course had to stop to watch it.
Alyse was excited because she knew the show almost by heart.
This was one of her favorite YouTube videos that we watched over and over again. She loved seeing it in real life.
Right after the show we were in perfect position for the parade.
We then moved on to buy their Mickey ears.
(This was a requirement for me.)
Then we headed to Small World.
As we were in line someone fell asleep.
This was so funny because Small World was suppose to be all about Breeley.
Alyse had declared this "Breeley's ride" so she really wanted to wake her up, but we let her get some rest as we rode.
And before y'all fall asleep we will take a break.
Part 2 tomorrow!
