Little House Made Of Candy

Most of the weekend was spent right here in our little house.
Miss Alyse wasn't feeling the best, so we stayed home in our pjs.
(She had croup and still has a sinus infection, but she is doing much better.)

We decided that since we were home, we were going to do a few little Christmasy crafts. One thing we made was "Alyse's Howwwze". (That is an attempt at trying to type it out in the cute little southern accent that my child has.)

She was very excited about making her gingerbread house. Once it was finally time to get to business, she took it very seriously.

Of course there was some taste testing done also.

Daddy helped her with a few things, but for the most part, this was her project.

And she was very pleased with her work.

It is a cute little house.

I love her "Ta-Da" smile and pose at the end! So cute, even feeling poorly. :)

What a fun tradition! I can't believe how much Alyse has grown in over a year! Too cute.
