Baby Jordan

This is Baby Jordan.

My sister, Danielle, had him at 10:16 this morning.

He was 5lb 8oz. 19inches long

I told you the other day that we thought he was coming soon.

She actually called me on Monday night and said that she felt like she was going to go into labor. I told her to call her doctor.

On Tuesday they checked her out and told her that she was in "the early stages of labor" and they thought that it would be anytime before she was in full labor. They told her to rest but also get herself ready.

Thursday she went back in to get checked. Her amniotic fluid was low and she was progressing slowly, so they decided to send her across the street to the hospital.

She was all hooked up to monitors and IVs but they told us they thought it might take awhile.

Around 2am she wasn't feeling good so they gave her an epidural and told her to get some rest.

At 7am they came and said it looked like they might have to do a c-section because the babies heart rate was dropping with contractions, but he decided to check her first. She was fully dilated and ready to go so he told her that they would start pushing soon.

At about 10am she started pushing.
He was born about 15 mins later.

A few minutes later we all got to meet him.

Welcome to the world, little one.
