Red, White, Blue...And Lots of BOOM!

Happy 4th of July! I hope you and your family have had a wonderful day!

We actually did most of our Independence Day celebrating on the 3rd of July since Josh had to work tonight.
So, last night we went to Pops in the Park for a little picnic
and some patriotic symphony music.
(This is her putting her hand over her heart during the National Anthem.)

We then stayed for Alyse's first time watching fireworks.
(She seemed to like them.)

Today we did go to our little town 4th of July parade.

Then we hit the pool for awhile.

Notice the flag swim suits :) A little later we had a little cookout.

To end the day we watched some of our neighbor's (illegal?) fireworks.

Now I will sit here in my bed listening to the booms outside and wonder how many times Alyse is going to get out of bed.....
